More About Me
Hi, I'm Shruti Goel and I’m a fashion designer and content writer. Being a fashion designer my skill set includes working on various software which includes: Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel draw and CLO 3D. It also includes fashion styling and drawing fashion illustrations. I have previously completed my internship at Tirupati Apparels wherein I conceptualized new designs and prints for kid's wear according to buyer's recommendations for export. Learnt new ways of editing an image for promotion purposes. I have been a part of the IKFW(Indian Kid’s Fashion Week) as a volunteer and learnt minute details about how the show takes place. India Kids Fashion Week is an event held quarterly in Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bangalore by IKFW Organization. The organization is involved in putting the kids on the ramp and showcasing designers' outfits. Having worked in similar roles and engaging in different topics have helped me build the right skill set and capabilities that this job requires. I have worked on different design projects, starting from “Cozy Lush”- a kid's wear collection which depicts fashion for kids with comfort as one of the important features. “The Royal Rag”- a women's wear ethnic collection is all about mixing the royalty signifying things with small pieces of scraps to deliver something new to the world. Recently, my graduation project was a women's fusion wear, titled: Kathputli- Dance of stringed emotions. The primary idea behind this collection is to bring a disappearing Kathputli art form back to life. The goal of compiling this collection is to promote our rich heritage.
